In 2022, on a holiday to Valencia, Deirdre visited a number of pre 11th Century Castles in the area and has been working on a small jewellery collection to evoke the beauty of the simple and beautiful local architecture.

Admirably, there are castles being renovated all over Spain with each small village proud to promote and develope their heritage.
